2013
The Potato is planted
Three friends from advertising join forces to create Big Potato Games. Dean looks after the numbers, Ben draws the pictures and Tris writes the words.
2014
The chairman
Big Potato moves into a Victorian lockup in Shoreditch and hire their first employee on the condition that he builds his own chair.
2016
Potatoes across the pond
Big Potato are now eight people strong and partner with Bananagrams to bring their party games across to the USA.
2018
On the road again
Big Potato move to a new office in a Victorian department store down the road. They now have 14 people and 32 games in over 20 countries. They also have a potato van.
2019
That four-day feeling
Big Potato strike up a partnership with Spin Master in North America. Soon after, the company moves to a 4-day working week, making Thursday the new Friday.
2021
The sky’s the limit
Over 10 million games sold in 28 markets. And a potato-coloured helicopter. (Okay, that bit isn’t true… yet!)
